Musical Theater Class
Inspirations Through Movements Musical Theater Classes are the fun and energetic new way into the world of Broadway! Our artists have courses in Singing, Broadway dance training, and acting for a well-rounded class experience!
We aim to study musicals of old and new to find what makes our students excited and discover what big dreams they may have as artists! We also focus on our final numbers to be performed in the Winter Showcase as well as Spring Performance.
Dress code for Musical Theater: Leotards, tee shirts, shorts/leggings or skirt, ballet or jazz shoes. Boys: tee shirt, pants or shorts, dance shoes
Musical Theater Level 1

Ages: K-5th Grade
Description:
This class brings out the best in our budding artists with singing and dancing group numbers and solos, practiced lifts and so much more! This course introduces students to the basics of musical theater, including singing, and props. Students will be challenged by routines that may include singing solos and harmonies, prop work, partner work, lifts, and acting.

Musical Theater Level 2

Ages: 5th Grade+
Description:
This course builds upon what was learned in Musical Theater Level 1. Utilizing more advanced arrangements and techniques to showcase a more intermediate understanding of musical theater. Students will be challenged vocally and physically with a wider range of theater to pull from. As in Musical Theater 1, there may be prop work, partner work, lifts, and acting.
